This tutorial was created by Mystic on January 23, 2007.




All tubes were supplied by Top Design Tubes which is a yahoo group with some wonderful tubers.


I used PSP X for this tutorial you may find Corel/Jasc Paint Shop Pro X here.

Download Filters Unlimited by scrolling down to the U's and click on Unlimited2 here.

Download the supplies here.



Place the filter in your plugins folder.
Place the tubes in your tubes folder.
Place the font in your fonts folder.


Now lets get started with the tutorial



1. Open a new image size with the width at 196 and the height at 218.

2. Copy and paste the pattern below to your work area

3. Set your foreground to the pattern you just pasted and the background to #a7a08d.

4. Flood fill your work area with the pattern.

5. Go to Effects/I.C.NET Software/Filters Unlimited.

6. With Filters Unlimited open go to Edges, Square and select Square Edge 17.

7. Copy and paste the small tube, I supplied the original size plus the size we are going to use for this tutorial.

8. Lower the opacity of the tube layer to 79.

9. Copy and paste the fbstitches tube.

10. Now minimize this work area for later use in the tutorial.

11. Open a new image with the width of 500 and the height at 450.

12. Flood fill this work area with the same pattern.

13. Go to Layers/Duplicate and duplicate this layer.

14. To Effects/I.C.Net Software/Filters Unlimited and it should open automatically to the Square Edge 17 that we used last time, hit okay

15. Copy and paste your trees tube and paste it arrange to slightly to the left and to the top.

16. Lower the opacity of this layer to 83.

17. Copy and paste your sunflower tube and arrange just touching your trees tube on the right.

18. Lower the opacity of this layer to 36.

19. Duplicate this layer and move it to the lower left hand corner.

20. This what we have done so far.

21. On your layers palette activate Raster 2, which is your cropped background.

22. Go to Selections/Select All.

23. Back to Selections/Float.

24. Once again to Selections/Invert.

25. On your layers palette activate Raster 3, which is your trees tube.

26. Hit Delete, this will clean up the edges.

27. On your layers palette activate Raster 4, which is your first Sunflower.

28. Hit Delete.

29. On your layers palette activate Raster 5, which is your second Sunflower.

30. Hit Delete.

31. Go to Selections/None.

32. Copy and paste the edge tube and arrange to the left.

33. Maximize your small work area we did at the beging of this tutorial.

34. Right click on it and Merge Visible and copy.

35. On the larger work area paste your work and arrange this to the upper right corner, use my header for an idea where to put it or arrange to where you like it.

36. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and set to the settings below.

37. Copy and paste your fbtag and place onto the border near the top, I included the font with the tag if you wish to use that.

38. Copy and paste your fbribbon and place over the tag.

39. Copy and paste the fbscrew and place over the ribbon.

40. Add a new layer.

41. Click on your Text tool.

42. Close your foreground colour and set the font as to the settings below, if you wish to put your name on the tag the colour I used there is #78450c.

43. Add the following drop shadow.

44. Lower the opacity of your name to 85.


45. Resize if you like and save your work.
