~~ Supplies ~~

Corel/Jasc Paint Shop Pro X here.

Download Penta Filter here.

Download the supplies here.



Place the Filters into your filters folder.
Place the tubes in your tubes folder.




NOTE: If you would like to use different colours you MUST use the same size pieces as I have provided to have this tutorial work properly. If you would like to make this tag smaller when finished I would recommend that you apply the jeans effect to your layers after you have downsized it.



Now lets get started with the tutorial



1. Open a new image with the Width set at 500 and the Height set to 450.

2. Set your Foreground colour to #ffffff and your Background colour to #00000.

3. Flood fill your work area.

4. Right click on the image below and paste as a new layer, do not move it.

5. Click on Effects/Image Effects/Offset and set to the settings below.

6. Go to Layers/Duplicate.

7. Then to Image/Mirror.

8. On your layers palette right click on Copy of Raster 2 and select Merge down.

9. Then to Layers/Duplicate.

10. Now to Image/Flip.

11. Once again on your layers palette right click on Copy of Raster 2 and select Merge down.

12. Lets go to Effects/penta.com/jeans and set to the following settings.

13. Paste as a new layer your long rectangle again, your psp memory should still contain that data.

14. Now we go to Image/Free Rotate and set this to 90.00.

15. Once again we go to Effects/Image Effects/Offset and set to the following settings.

16. Duplicate this layer by goint to Layers/Duplicate.

17. Now we go to Image/Mirror.

17. On your layers palette right click on Copy of Raster 3 and select Merge down.

20. Image/Flip.

21. Once again on your layers palette right click on Copy of Raster 3 and select Merge down.

22. Go to Effects/penta.com/jeans and use the same settings as previously used.

23. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and apply the following settings.

24. Copy the image below and paste as a new layer.

25. Go to Effects/Image Effects/Off Set and apply the following settings.

26. Layers/Duplicate.

27. And again to Image/Mirror.

28. On your layers palette right click on Copy of Raster 4 and select Merge Down.

29. Once again to Effects/penta.com/Jeans and apply the same settings used before.

30. Now to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and apply the same settings used previously.

31. Once again paste your shorter rectangle as a new layer, it should again still be in your psps memory.

32. Go to Image/Free Rotate and click okay as we will be using the same settings.

33. To Effects/Image Effects/Off Set and apply the following settings.

34. Now to Layer>Duplicate.

35. Then to Image/Flip.

36. On your layers palette click on Copy of Raster 5 and select Merge Down.

37. Go to Effects/penta.com/Jeans and apply the same settings.

38. Now to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and apply the same settings.

39. Right click and copy the image below and paste as a new layer.

40. Now we go to Image/Free Rotate and set this to 45.00.

41. To Effects/penta.com/Jeans and apply the same settings.

42. Now to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and apply the same settings.

43. Copy and paste your couple tube as a new layer and move the up ever so slightly.

44. On your layers palette change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy) and the Opacity to 32.

45. Copy and paste as a new layer your fragile_word_art and arrange to the bottom of your main square.

46. Copy and paste your fragile_button and arrange as I have in sample below.

47. Duplicate this layer.

48. Now to Image/Mirror.

49. Back to Layers/Duplicate

50. Image/Flip.

51. Layers/Duplicate.

52. Image/Mirror, now you should have a button on all four corners.

53. Copy and Paste as a new layer your Korda Heart, and arrange this to the right corner.

54. Once arranged we will have to remove part of the ring so zoom in really close.

55. Go to your selections tool and select the rectangle.

56. Now carefully select the black line of the square as I have done.

57. Hit your delete key when you are satisfied.

58. Zoom back to normal view.

59. Now we just have to add our name, click on your pen tool.

60. Draw a slight diagonal line on your heart.

61. Add a new layer.

62. Click on your Text tool and hover over your line till you see an A with a half circle under it, then click.

63. Close your forground colour and then select a font, preferrably Arial, Garamond or Myriad Condensed Web (which is what I used) now set your font to size to 22 pixels and type your name.

64. Close your vector layer (the line) and add your watermark.

65. Now you may close the background and save your work as a .gif, or you may leave the background and save as a .jpeg this is a preference choice.
